No. It reads two birth charts against each other and describes how the two patterns behave in the same room. It is not a way to find out what someone privately thinks, and it will not be written that way.
Does it work for same-sex couples?
Yes. The calculation basis sets the direction of the traditional cycle only, it is chosen per person, and the written reading is gender neutral throughout.
What if we are both in the same group?
Then the same directions favour both of you and the document says so early, because it changes the whole job. The harder and more common case is a split pairing, where every direction favours exactly one of you, which is what the section on splitting what cannot be shared is for.
What if I do not know my birth time?
Write unknown. The hour pillar is withheld and the reading says plainly which parts it can and cannot speak to. Nothing is invented to fill the gap.
