What Yang Fire is

Your day master is the single character your whole chart is measured against. Yang Fire is the third of the ten heavenly stems, and the classical image is the sun rather than a flame: light that falls on everything in range, without being aimed.

Here is the part a trait list will not tell you. Yang Fire does not get to be subtle. It is noticed on arrival, credited with more warmth than it may feel, and read as confident on days it is not. That is useful and it is also a tax, because it makes withdrawing conspicuous. The skill is choosing what to point at, since the light is going somewhere regardless.

Does Yang Fire mean I am an extrovert?

Not reliably. The stem describes how much of you reaches other people, not how much company you want. Plenty of Yang Fire charts belong to people who are read as warm in a room and go home to recover from it.

What weakens a Yang Fire day master?

Season does most of the work. Fire born into deep winter is working against the month, and fire born into high summer is not. That is why a reading starts with the month branch rather than with the stem alone.
