What Yang Water is

Your day master is the single character your whole chart is measured against. Yang Water is the ninth of the ten heavenly stems, and the classical image is a large body of moving water, the sea or a river: volume, motion, and a route that finds itself.

Here is the part a trait list will not tell you. Yang Water is resourceful because it does not commit early, and it does not commit early because there is nearly always another way round. Does Yang Water mean I am adaptable?

Adaptability is the visible half. The other half is that a chart with this day master will often keep several routes live at once, which looks like flexibility from outside and can feel like indecision from inside. Both readings are describing the same mechanism.

What controls Yang Water in a chart?
