What Insight is

Insight is an element that generates your day master, in matching polarity. Where output points away from you, resource points toward you: this is the relation of being fed rather than feeding.

Each element is generated by one other. Read from your own position, that relation produces the two resource gods, and Insight is the same-polarity one.

How it reads

The theme is intuition, unconventional learning and detachment. Classical practice associates it with research, with healing work and with niche expertise, all fields where the understanding is arrived at rather than taught.

With money it reads as irregular and idea-led: resources that follow the work rather than a schedule. In how you relate to people it is private and selective, closeness offered to few rather than many.

Detachment is the word worth pausing on. It is not coldness. It describes the small distance from which things are easier to see clearly, which is exactly why the fields above suit it.

Why the same god reads two ways

Resource strengthens the day master, and more is not automatically better.

A day master that is stretched, meeting heavy output or heavy control, finds Insight genuinely restorative. It is support that arrives without having to be asked for, which is a rare thing in a chart.

A day master already well supported finds the same Insight tips it further. Support with nothing drawing on it becomes accumulation without expression: knowing without making, understanding held privately and never put to use.

Same relation, opposite reading. Which one your chart shows is a balance judgement, and it is the question a reading is built to answer.

How is Insight different from Support?

Polarity, and the shape of the help. Both are the element that generates your day master, so both feed it. Support arrives conventionally, through the expected channels. Insight arrives sideways: the unusual teacher, the thing learned alone, the understanding nobody handed over.

Is it true that Insight works against Output?

There is a real tension between them and it is worth understanding rather than fearing. Resource feeds the day master and output draws from it, so a chart heavy in one and light in the other tends to accumulate without expressing, or express without replenishing. That is a balance question, and balance questions are what a reading works on.

Does Insight mean I am intuitive?

It reads as a tendency toward understanding reached privately rather than received. Whether that feels like intuition, like research, or like being slightly outside the room depends on the chart around it and on where the god sits.
